Millions of older adults are treated for fall-related injuries each year. Here are a few tips to help you or your older loved one reduce the risk of a fall and stay safe.

  1. Exercise to maintain balance and strength. Join Seabury's virtual yoga/fitness fusion classes every Wednesday morning.

  2. Make sure that eyewear prescriptions are current and eye check-ups are attended as recommended.

  3. Clear any potential obstacles from walkways.

  4. Ensure that stairs and bathrooms have reliable rails and grab bars.

  5. Use an assistive device if needed when moving about.
