United Bank to be Recognized by Seabury for Support Throughout the COVID-19 Pandemic
The 16th Annual Leadership in Aging Celebration will be held on Thursday, May 19th from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Eaton DC. Funds raised at the event support essential services in housing, meals, and transportation for local older adults as Seabury Resources for Aging® continues to address food insecurity, social isolation, and a lack of affordable housing in the Washington, D.C. region.
Seabury’s 2022 Community Partner Award will be presented to United Bank. This award honors businesses and community groups that support Seabury’s programs and services in meaningful ways.
United Bank’s partnership since 2020 has helped Seabury meet the increased needs of the thousands of individuals and families we serve during the COVID-19 pandemic. Their responsiveness and personal attention throughout the PPP loan process enabled Seabury to secure the funds necessary to support the services on which older adults rely.
“Here at United, banking means more than simply providing financial solutions, it means improving the quality of life for our neighbors.” said United Bank Commercial Services Officer, Todd Monash. “The COVID-19 pandemic has had a major impact on individuals and families throughout the D.C. Metro area, and we are inspired by the life-changing work of local organizations, like Seabury Resources for Aging®, that address the health, safety and well-being challenges of our communities. We are proud to contribute to their continuous impact and are humbled to be receiving this year’s Community Partner Award.”
Please join us to celebrate United Bank and this year's Leadership in Aging Honoree, Mark Bucher. Tickets and sponsorships are on sale now.
