DC Honors Friendship Terrace Resident!
Seabury Resources for Aging is proud to announce that on June 26, 2018 Clarence “Buddy” Moore, lifetime D.C. resident and Seabury Resources for Aging client, was recognized by the Council of the District of Columbia with a Resolution in his honor. The award recognizes Mr. Moore’s lifetime achievements as a public servant which include, among many other things: coordination of the 1963 March on Washington, service to the District as the ANC for Commission 1A, his assistance in publishing the “Collected Memoirs from the Bernice Fonteneau Senior Wellness Center”, and for his work as a staff member for U.S. Delegate to Walter E. Fauntroy. In May of 2018, after many years of supporting Seabury Resources for Aging, Mr. Moore moved into Seabury at Friendship Terrace. We are privileged and proud to recognize Clarence “Buddy” Moore.
